Video Editor – Basic Description
Responsible for editing and producing engaging video content for social media, websites, marketing campaigns, and other digital platforms. The role includes cutting and arranging footage, adding transitions, music, text, captions, basic effects, and ensuring videos are optimized for different platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Edit raw video footage into polished, engaging videos.
- Add captions, text, music, transitions, and basic animations.
- Create videos for Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, TikTok, and websites.
- Resize and optimize videos for different platforms.
- Maintain consistent branding, quality, and visual style.
- Work with the content/marketing team to meet deadlines.
- Make revisions based on feedback.
Basic Requirements:
- Experience with tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut etc
- Good understanding of video editing, pacing, and storytelling.
- Basic knowledge of social media video formats and trends.
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- A portfolio of previous video editing work is preferred.
